Sedona XPRESSion Evaluator Reference Guide

UnDefine Function VI

Nullifies a previous function definition.

When a user-defined function is no longer needed in any expression, then the Undefine Function VI can be used to effectively delete the specified user-function from the XPRESSion Evaluator’s internal database. If an expression containing a reference to a function which has been "undefined" is compiled using the Compile Expr VI, an error will be generated.

error in (no error) describes any error conditions prior to this VIs execution.
function descriptor is the original function descriptor passed to the Define Function VI when the indicated function was defined.
error out contains error information. If the error in cluster indicated an error, the error out cluster contains the same information. Otherwise, error out describes this VIs error status.
